Interview
Met Synchrony recruiters through university-held career fair and applied through university recruiting website. Was chosen for a first-round interview on campus a couple of weeks later. Found out I got a second-round onsite interview about a week later, which was a 2-day event at the Alpharetta, GA office. The onsite event consisted of a dinner the night before, company info presentations and 2 back-to-back one-on-one interviews. Overall, I would describe the interview process as very structured--each interview involved a different set packet of behavioral questions ("Tell me about a time when...") but conversational at the same time. All the Synchrony recruiters were friendly, and the company info presentation was very interesting and covered a lot.

Each interview had a different packet of behavioral questions so it is important to have different examples for each.
There were two rounds of interviews, both were fairly straight forward. The questions asked were not surprising. After second interview, you’ll hear back from them within 2-3 weeks. The recruiter was very kind as well.

Interview
Everyone involved in the process was very friendly and straightforward. After initial on-campus interviews, I was invited to Synchrony's Chicago office for final round interviews. These lasted all day, and included breakfast and lunch breaks with other analysts and employees. There were several one-on-one behavioral interviews, each of which touched on different aspects of my background and skill set. All of these were very conversational, and each interviewer left time at the end for questions.

Interview
SYF is super focused on the true leadership component of the program. They feel confident about the supply of grads with technical ability, but they want to pick out leaders. Be ready to discuss intangibles just as much as technical skills or your past experiences. It was a very friendly and rewarding experience to interview here.
