I applied through university. I interviewed at Swiss Re
Interview
It took entire three months with four rounds interview. The first one is on campus. the interviewer graduated from our school. he gave me about 15 to 20 questions during the interview. one thing was i replied short and fast, the other was he had a brochure with all the questions in it. Then he left me about 7 minutes to ask questions. So I asked about the atmosphere in the office and what did he do basically everyday, etc. The second one was a phone interview with the HR. The third one was a home office interview from 8 to 5. I had six different people came into the room and interview me with questions each took about 30 to 40 mins. One of them gave me an excel sheet and two questions with it. I did not do well on this one. The fourth one was a phone interview with two actuaries in Hong Kong. Same type as the regular interviews. Nothing special. then i received a voicemail from the HR in New York and was told i did not get the job. The rejection was not very professional. They did not even send me an email. Just a voicemail message and the effort that i put for three months was all gone.

Question 1
You go home and the light wouldn't work, what would you do next?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Zürich) in Jan 2025
Interview
There were two rounds of interviews, which were a recorded interview and an on-site interview. For the recorded one, I should've answered 4-5 questions, which I found quite generic. The second interview was more technical and two interviewers attended. They asked me about my knowledge in the field and explained the tasks. I answered pretty well for most of the questions but didn't get an offer in the end. I assume this was because I needed more training for the role compared to other candidates.
The have conducted two round
The First round is apptitude
The second round is technical round and face to face process.
The interview process typically begins with a pre-interview phase, where the candidate is contacted by the interviewer or their representative to schedule the interview. Once the interview is confirmed, the candidate researches the company, role, and industry to prepare for the conversation.
During the interview, the process usually unfolds in several rounds. The first round is often an introductory or screening round, where the interviewer assesses the candidate's basic qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. This round may involve a brief presentation or a series of questions designed to gauge the candidate's background and skills.
Easy interview asked basic questions related to actuarial science
Asked few questions from sql(as was mentioned in my CV) and mostly from CM1 and cs1
But questions were quite easy
