I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SurveyMonkey (Orangeburg, SC) in Mar 2015
Interview
They were in our college for interviewing. They first pre-screened the candidates by looking at their resumes, and called the selected candidates for a technical interview. During the technical interview, I interviewed with two software engineers. After the technical interview, I talked to the CTO regarding my interests and past projects.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Output Nth number in the fibonacci sequence both recursively and iteratively.
Phone interview then video interview with 2 employees. It was straightforward, and the people were nice. I got a call saying I didn't get the position, which was nice that they let me know.
I did a phone screen for round 1 for twenty minutes. Then did a zoom interview for thirty mins for the second round. Everyone was super nice. Would apply more to future positions!
The process went smoothly. Recruiter, hiring manager and the team were super nice. The interviews were conversational and casual, mostly about my background and interest, and some behavioral questions. Although I didn't get offer, the firm did have an impression on me. I will definitely try again for full-time
