      Key Account Manager Interview

      19 Oct 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Nottingham, England
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Sunspel (Nottingham, England) in Feb 2018

      Interview

I went through 3-stage interview - all three were group interviews which lasted approx. 1 hour - 1 hour and a half. On the first interview I met two people who told me about the company and also asked questions about my experience, abilities and skills. On the second interview I met two people again, one of them turned out to be my manager I was going to work with directly. Again, I was asked similar questions, but this time I talked in more depth and provided more details about my responsibilities at work. This was the shortest interview out of all three. Last interview was with two people again - one of them was the CEO himself. This was the longest and the most stressful interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

While first two interviews were fairly pleasant and more focused on my experience, skills and abilities, the third one was stressful. The main reason was because it was directly with the CEO who was more focused on my reasons behind leaving my current job at the time . Our conversation or rather me explaining myself took the most time at this interview. I was left with an impression that I didn't get a job. A couple weeks later I was offered the job.
