I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Suburban Rail Loop Authority (Melbourne) in Oct 2022
Interview
I came from a sustainability background, with a BA in Enviro Science. The interview process included an online assessment, an online assessment centre (with individual presentation & short interview), and a follow-up interview. The Assessment Centre was okay! They ensure everyone is supported through the process so I felt comfortable and at ease.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The questions (at the assessment centre and during the follow up interview) were pretty much only behavioural questions! E.g., Describe a time you were innovative. Tell me about yourself and your interest in the role, and how it contributes to your career plans How do you handle working with people who are different to you? Tell me about a time you overcame this.
I think the main thing they're looking for is someone who can contribute to their healthy and happy working culture. Be sure to show your bubbly personality and willingness to learn in any circumstance.
