I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at State Farm (Irvine, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
You apply online and take a computerized test. If this goes well, you get called by HR for about a 45 minute interview. I didn't get contacted back 1st time around, but I still applied for other openings anyway and another HR rep called me. Once you get past the HR interview and computer tests, you can apply to other postings without doing the aforementioned all over again. However, I had 5, yes FIVE on-site interviews for claims rep/processor positions. Guess what, I had 0, ZERO offers. I know I'm not an idiot and I for sure aced those interviews, except one which I didn't think went well. I even got a 2nd chance to speak with the same guy who rejected me the first time. Still no. All things considered, I think I was just a token interview so that the hiring managers can comply with HR rules. Seems like internal candidates beat me every time. I guess your best bet at this company would be a referral, but know that I'm not lying when I said I had 5 final round interviews, with 4 different managers, and zero offers.
