I applied online. I interviewed at Stambaugh Ness (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process flowed well, starting with a screening, and all interview steps were virtual. You meet with the coordinator and then the head of the department. Overall, I feel like this was a pretty standard interview process. The coordinator, Aly, was fantastic.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you owned a learning process : what went well, and what didn't go as planned?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Stambaugh Ness in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process was very relaxed and conversational. I first had a phone call with the Talent Aquisition Manager and the then three video interviews. The first interview was with the Director of Cultural Strategy and the CFO that focused on technical qualifications. The next round was with the Chief People and Culture Officer and focused mostly on culture. Lastly, I met with the CEO. The interview conversations included my background and dove deep into company culture. They really want to make sure you understand the culture and the 100% remote atmosphere before getting to serious. The company was very responsive and provided me updates of where we were in the process. Everyone was very polite and welcoming.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stambaugh Ness (Houston, TX) in Jul 2023
Interview
The process begins with an email from HR, followed by a set of questions asked that you answer via email, then you are scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. (The hiring manager was out on PTO so i interviewed with the R&D manager). He was extremely friendly and really brought on a sense of great work culture. Followed a basic resume experience explanation followed by some conversation. Honestly the only part I would say that was bad was the fact that there is no communication after this, you either get moved on to the next round or will be ghosted completely.
