Online aptitude test followed by oral interview. The process takes around 3 weeks from start to completion. For the aptitude test, I can say you need to prepare thoroughly especially on the numerical test. You need to be faster in answering questions because time is very limited. You will have around 100 questions to answer in 30minutes.

Question 1
How do you manage time when faced with multiple tasks?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stable in Oct 2024
Interview
This was the most grueling tech interview loop that I've experienced. The entire process took 11 hours and 4 weeks end to end.
It consisted of:
- A 30 minute screening Zoom interview
- 1 hour interview with the design lead
- 1 hour interview with the CTO
- 4 hour take home design exercise
- 1 hour design exercise review with the design lead, CTO, and and lead engineer
- 1 hour follow up interview with the design lead (where I sent references... and they checked references BEFORE giving me an offer)
- 4 hour virtual onsite interview interview loops with 2 engineers, the CTO, another set of engineers, a meeting with the partnership and sales lead, meeting with the CEO, and a closing meeting with the design lead
The design lead informed me that if at any point during the interview process they felt I wasn't the right fit, they would end the process.
The questions were standard. Nothing was out of the ordinary.
The biggest standout of the interview process was at the very end with my meeting with the CEO, Sarah. Her eyes were affixed to the bottom corner of the screen the entire time. She needs to disable her self view in the future, or atleast move it to the top near her webcam.

In the end, the feedback I received was that the team felt that some of my answers stayed too high level and not "specific enough" with real world examples. When I asked for when that happened, I was not given a specific answer.
I should have followed my gut stopped the interview process at the design exercise. This is a red flag for immature teams and orgs. However, I've been out of work for 2 months. I had no choice but to go with it.

Question 1
Talk about a time where a project didn't go the way you expected. How did you handle the situation?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stable in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process was quite simple and consisted of a zoom call with TA and an interview with the hiring manager. While the interview with the hiring manager was conversational and enjoyable, my experience with TA left much to be desired.
First, TA showed up 5 minutes late to our call. They laughed about the team being "full of work" and said, "I was going to let you know I would be late, but figured it better I just show up late instead." This is a huge red flag, but I carried on. Throughout the interview, TA made it a point to look out their window while I was speaking, giving me signs that they weren't listening to what I was saying. The recruiter also made an interesting comment about how they team is interviewing a variety of people "because they don't know what they are looking for", which was concerning to hear. They did not ask if I had any questions and instead ended the interview with, "Well I feel really good about this. How about you?"
