Applied overseas via Linkedin. Got contacted after 2 weeks for a screening interview. Next round was with hiring manager, it wasnt very technical, more like finding out managerial experience and capabilities. Took around 1 hr 10 minutes and seemed to be very positive. I was almost sure that I’d be going for the next round, but within a week I got a polite thank you mail from HR with no feedback. The job ad is still active, looks like they are not in a hurry. I think living overseas and being an active musician/producer was my main disadvantage. Nothing much to say, its been a pity spending all this effort.

Very basic managerial and technical stuff. The interviewer had not much idea about music industry and app’s drawbacks which made me surprised a bit.

First call with a recruiter was very short. The recruiter was first 5 min late and then it was over after 10 min. They only hardly asked any questions and then said thank you, no chance to elaborate.

A first interview with the recruiter, a day with different areas of the business and a case study and a last one meeting the team consisting of Engineering manager and five team members
