Scheduling was easy. No issues there.
My interview started with "Why do you want to work here? ". I never said I wanted to! I am here to interview you just like you!!
My interviewer's skills were only limited to technologies he had worked with. Any tools/technologies I worked with were foreign to him and he kept asking me if they were similar to the tools he knew. That's a red flag to me because that means my interviewer has very low understanding of CS fundamentals.
Then I was given around 30 minutes to solve a technical challenge in one of the most archaic online code editor I have seen in my life. The interviewer expected me to be a code monkey and product output as if there's no tomorrow. He did not really want me to think and solve the challenge but just produce output. Another red flag to me so sorry I do NOT want to work here

I applied online. I interviewed at SoundCommerce (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter.
I then had an initial phone screening and was then asked to move forward to the virtual onsite.
I did the 1 hr interview in 15 minutes and then we were just chitchatting for almost all 3 rounds.
The interviewers seemed nice and I had a great chat. And the interview went perfect.
Then I don’t hear back from them for about a week and finally receive a rejection out of nowhere.
