I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Soshace in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview consisted of several steps. Several conversations with HR, online quiz for 2 hours, pretty standard live coding of two tasks (one algorithmic and one for a framework of choice) with their technical specialist. The thing to consider is a mandatory background check. If I didn't have feedback from my previous teams, I don't think I would've get an offer.

Interview
I got the response the next day after I applied. The HR manager sent me a quiz with multiple-choice questions about JS, HTML/CSS, React, Node, etc. When I passed the test, I received an invitation to the online coding session.

Interview
I applied for the Angular Front-end Developer position using StackOverflow Jobs page. HR person contacted me the following day and we scheduled a meeting.
I did a 30 minute Skype call with HR. She sent me an online quiz and I took the quiz right after the meeting.
About the quiz:
- You have 2 hours to complete the quiz and once you start, you cannot pause the timer. It took almost 2 hours for me to finish so make sure you have time before starting the quiz.
- Your mic and camera is on while taking the quiz.
- The quiz consisted of questions on Javascript, CSS, HTML, Algorithms and Framework (Angular/React, depends on which path you choose)
- The questions were on point. If you are doing front-end development day to day, you should be able to solve them easily.
The next that I was informed that I passed the quiz and we scheduled a technical interview same day. The technical interview took about 1.5 hours. We talked about:
- Past job experiences
- Technologies and programming languages and tools I know and use
- Some basic Javascript and framework questions
There was also a live coding session in the technical interview.
- You are asked to complete 3 tasks in 1 hour.
- 2 of the tasks were basic algorithms that can be written in basic Javascript. 20 to 30 lines of code is enough to solve each of them.
- The 3rd task asks you to write a basic application in the front-end framework of your choice (Angular/React). It is doable in around 30 minutes.
- You will use your own environment in live coding. You should prepare your IDE and project before the interview. Make sure you create a project with boilerplate code, create a scaffold and install necessary npm packages.
Next day, the interviewer informed me that I was succesful in the technical interviewer and I got an offer. For me, the interview process took 2 days in total, I was impressed with how responsive and caring the interview team is.
