First interview (by telephone) was a basic screening to see if my skills and experience matched the job description. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and the interviewer shared very little information about the position.
The second interview was with a different interviewer (also by telephone). It was designed to measure your behavior in the interview process and how you answered questions about work situations. There was very little dialog. The interviewer would ask a question, then be silent while you answered while writing down your response. Then they would ask another question and repeat. The interview lasted about 45 minutes.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult employee.
Very respectful and welcoming interviewers, They definitely seemed like career Sodexo heads, A lot of Kool-Aid on their lips, but they didn’t come across as insincere. If if they could’ve matched my current salary, I probably would’ve taken the job.
Very structured and oddly formal panel interview with 4 people. It lasted an hot and 15 minutes and appeared scripted/rehearsed. Lots of cliche ‘tell me about a time’ type questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sodexo (Washington, DC) in Dec 2023
Interview
One of the worst interview experiences in a while. I applied and then a month and half later I was contacted by the recruiter. After that interview, it took them almost three weeks to get back to me on next steps. I completed what I was told is the final interview right before XMAS, but then they wanted to speak to me again two days after XMAS. It took them three additional weeks to make a decision, and they hired the internal candidate. Why did an executive in the company waist my time, when they knew they were going to hire the internal candidate?
