I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Snowflake (Sydney) in Mar 2021
Interview
1. I applied online
2. After few weeks I got an email from them asking about my availability
3. I submitted my availability and they scheduled a call with someone from the team I'm applying for
4. Had a call with a person, who didn't do any introduction, about the role, nor anything. The interview was VERY technical. Beginning to end. Felt like it was a duty to the person, and intentionally trying to find gaps. Although the role is senior, and half of what he asked is not something you hear when speaking with customers- it was "textbox" material. I did answer 90% of his questions.
5. After the interview, I didn't hear anything from them.
6. I reached out to ask for feedback, but again no one responded. Totally ghosted me.
I'm upset because:
1. No one called me to explain the hiring process or discuss the role itself before scheduling the first call.
3. When I asked for feedback from different personas over email, no one gave any feedback.
It's just unprofessional and a BAD interview experience. It's shameful as I was thinking very high of Snowflake, and hey: I'm actually a great fit for the role! But it's okay if they don't think so, just give your candidate feedback, and tell him how the process goes.

Question 1
How to get records from two datasets
What's columnar storage?
How do you migrate data from on-prem to AWS?
Any other silly questions that you'd ask someone junior.
