Interviewer was not very personable. The focus was not on my experience, strategy approach, or problem solving, but questions on my impression of how the software is currently used based on a page of the UI. Frankly, any Product Manager worth their salt would quickly learn how the software is used for specific customer use cases early in the onboarding and customer feedback process. I did not receive an update on application status. My advice to this hiring team: if you value diversity of thought, focus less on granularity of industry experience and more on what skills and qualities make a strong contributor. Additionally, hiring managers are also giving a first impression in interviews and everyone's time is important -- standoffishness is a real red flag.
