I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Skuid (Chattanooga, TN) in Aug 2016
Interview
The interview process was an overall positive experience.
Initially, it was a one on one video call that lasted about 30 to 45 minutes where a few technical questions were asked. The next day, I got emailed from the same interviewer giving me instructions on what to do for a take home coding exercise. I'd say that the coding exercise was an beginner/intermediate level. The interviewer stressed that time was a factor (a couple of hours) in the coding exercise. I had sent the repository of my finished repository, and awaited further instructions.
The following week, they had me come in for an in-person interview! It was a group panel of 4 developers, and the interview was like most of the software engineer interviews I've been a part of. Half of the interview was filled with technical questions to see how I worked through problems, and the other half was questions to see if I was the right personality fit.
