SingleStore Senior Site Reliability Engineer interview questions

Involved several rounds with different members. For a role that was posted more like a systems engineer role, they seemed to expect a full blown software developer. I had to add functionality in C code, explain from the ground up how to design an app to do this, and to do that. They already knew from my resume I was not a programmer, and I went through all this just to get rejected anyways. I get the feeling this group is poorly managed, someone's got free rein how they want to run things, i've seen this before.
