The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SimpleCRM (New Delhi)
Interview
HR connected with me for initial discussion and setting up of interview. Both the technical rounds were cleared.
Till now no offer letter is released.
She asked me for set of documents like payslips and other. But to my surprise she asked me resignation acceptance letter or mail from my current organization.
This is the TRAP!!
Without releasing offer letter, they are asking you to resign and get bound to their terms.
DON'T DO IT!!
Not only SimpleCRM, but if any company tries this strategy, it's a RED ALERT.
They then sent an intent letter which I have never seen in my career.
This is not permanent letter and it's subject to change.
What she said is it's a part of process and you will get the confirmed offer letter after your joining.
They justify this by saying that if candidate has freedom to jump from multiple offers, then we also have rights to not to release offer letter.
Management has very strange policies and very rude behaviour (not HR) she was knowing that this is not going to workout but she was bound by her company policies.
This is my detailed experience with SimpleCRM and a very big lesson for my career.
I request you to please do not fall prey to such policies even if you are desperate being jobless.
Guys, I made a mistake by resigning without having confirmed offer letter from SimpleCRM and just believed what they kept hiding.
We're sorry to hear you didn't get the good experience you had hoped for. As a company, we honor all the offers made. We ask for confirmation of intention to join the company to discourage the practice of ghosting by some candidates.
