The interview process had two stages:
First Stage: This was an introduction where they talked about the company, what they are doing, the team and the project, and I shared my experience. They also asked general technical questions about .NET, architecture, design patterns, and my experience with microservices. I generally had good impression after first stage
Second Stage: This involved a take-home task, which was quite extensive and required multiple full days of work to complete. As I was told by an external HR a lot of people said that the task took them multiple days too.
Short description of the home task: create a prototype search functionality for SimonsVoss LSM software using JSON data. It involves building a backend search algorithm with weighted relevance, an API for search requests, and a simple frontend for displaying results, with optional cloud deployment.
After submitting the task, I never received any feedback or a response.
