Signature Events interview questions

I had my interview with the manager of the Fullerton location and I felt incredibly disrespected and offended by his choice of words. The event title I applied for was "Seasonal Event Coordinator" ... assuming that typically seasonal work is, just that, seasonal.. and part time. When he asked if I was interested in full-time work I explained to him that I had applied for the seasonal position and was hoping to work there as well as with another seasonal job offering I had to get well-rounded event exposure. His response was condescending to say the least: "Okay so... essentially it sounds like you're dating two guys because neither of them is exactly what you want." Plenty of people work two jobs. Plenty of people look for part-time/seasonal work and if that is what I applied for then that is what I am interested. The analogy he chose was offensive and I felt belittled by someone who I had been excited for the opportunity to work for. It was an extremely disappointing situation and to further matters, I felt like my comments were brushed off by the HR team when I expressed my concern.
