Sketchy.
Candidates were presented a real world problem of an upcoming event, the COP28. The interview exercise was to provide intelligence on the Pope's potential visit using OSINT reporting. It just so happens this company is based out of the UAE, where the event is being held. Candidates were given 1 hour to provide an intelligence report.
Typically, I would have no issue in doing an exercise like this, but this felt off. For one, it was on upcoming subject matter in a geographic location that they directly do business. They could have just as easily picked something on the other side of the globe and completely out of their normal sphere of operations.
I felt like they were fishing for free intelligence analysis from a group of professionals in the guise of an "interview."
