Interview
The process has three rounds, I only did two of three as I got an offer elsewhere.
1. Interview with HR. Short call with HR getting to know Shutterstock and my relevant experience.
2. Interview with Hiring Manager. Some behavioural questions followed by some in depth technical questions and a short debugging piece.
3. Interview with Engineers. This round is meant to a technical round which has a coding problem. Cannot share much as I never completed it.

Interview
No DSA-type questions. The interview was focused on experience, real-world problem solving, and personality fit.
Senior engineers were involved and asked candidates to do small coding challenges in front of them, mainly to see how they think and communicate.
Overall, it was practical and straightforward, not overly technical.

Kind, and thoughtful. The recruiter was very upfront with the expectations for the role in terms of both responsibility and where I needed to be. I enjoyed the phone screen.
