Shopify Senior Staff Engineer interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter after applying to schedule a 60 minute coding exercise. There was no initial phone screen or conversation about the company before this. The coding exercise was pleasant, and the engineer on the call was cordial. We didn't discuss anything about Shopify on this call either, we jumped right into coding immediately. I assume this is due to their growth plans for 2021, but it would have been nice to have some level of conversation about the role first.
