I sent my resume and application, I received an email asking me to take a take-home assessment which I thought was pretty fun. It wasn't overly complicated and didn't require to much time to complete. After submitting the project I was contacted a day or two after to schedule a 15-minute phone screening, which was done on google hangouts which I've never used before so I did have some technical troubles. AKA I muted myself. My interviewer didn't seem very engaged with the process. And due to a poor internet connection, we would talk over each other or have long awkward pauses. In short, I don't think I did well. In the future, I would ask Sezzle to consider conducting these short screenings over the phone. Or at least present the option. You should also consider doing the code assessment after the phone screen. Four hours of my time, to get a choppy 15-minute Hey how are you, What do you know about the company, And would you like to continue the hiring process? Is
