Interview
First technical round with a Principal Engineer
Second technical round with the Engineering Manager
Then a series of questions and a lot of updates were asked about my experience and my educational qualification. It was like I was filling up some form to get into a country.

Interview
It was a disappointing experience with the recruitment process. After completing four rounds—including the assessment, senior round, and lead round where I received positive feedback—I did not receive any proper response after the manager round. Instead, I only got a generic email stating that my profile ‘doesn’t fully align with the specific needs of this position at this time.’
If my profile was not aligned for the role, I would like to understand why I was moved forward through all the earlier stages. How did I successfully clear the assessment, senior, and lead rounds if alignment was an issue? I felt confident about my performance in the manager round as well, and would greatly appreciate specific feedback. Constructive feedback would help me improve, learn from any mistakes, and prepare better for future opportunities.
Waiting two weeks to attend multiple rounds and then receiving such an unclear closure was very disheartening. I believe improving the feedback and communication process will enhance the overall candidate experience and strengthen the recruitment process.

First I had the HR call. I was told that they were hiring any-level software engineer, which meant, I could not be seen as a 'senior'. I continued the process anyway.
Then, a technical interview with a hiring manager, that had some questions and a live coding exercise. I felt I did well although some of the questions or complains about the solution seemed a bit picky to me.
After that I was told by the HR once again, that I may not be seen as a senior. They suggested that we move the application to another role where I could be a better fit, but then, silence. I have had to follow up several times during the process, and finally I just received a generic rejection email. I even replied to that saying that I was still waiting for any update on the other process, but again had no response.
