      Unity Developer Interview

      21 Apr 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SayGames in Oct 2024

      Interview

I applied to unity developer position in October 2024. Initial interview was nice, recruiter seemed nice and understanding. That until I had a technical interview. If she told you a feedback deadline - feel free to add days / weeks to it. She never get back to me with a feedback until I asked for it and even then I had to wait for days to even get a reply. A reply of them asking to wait for a few more days. Technical interview overall was ok but the reason for rejection - lack of experience on exact part of their game - is weird for me, as they state that company want to move from hypercasual to casual games but looking for a people with the exact same experience that they have, even tho I had years of record on successful casual games. Recruiter also proposed to try to interview for a completely different position (technical artist). I agreed but they never get back to me and I stopped asking because I just got tired and realized that it's going to be my day-to-day life if I work for them, just constantly asking for a feedback. Bad experience, I don't recommend to apply to any or their positions at all, it's just a waste of time.
