Samudera Shipping Line interview questions

The interview process was smooth. I was interviewed by 2 men from different departments. However, it took them very very long to get back to me with an answer or outcome of my application and interview only to find out I did not get the position. Very unprofessional.

Reached out by HR for opening role. Before anything ask, first qns asked was about last drawn and expected. Seriously. Afterwhich ghosted me. Then again, came back on own accord twice asking if keen for other opening roles and scheduled for interview. Again, asking for last last drawn and expected. But on near date, saying interview were cancelled. Not sure whether the HR and company is aligned in hiring process. And please don't ask about pay in initial question. Know is to benchmark but such a tight budget?
