SENATOR International interview questions

I was asked to interview for the import/export specialist position out of the Rockford Airport. Prior to taking the interview, I asked that we discuss salary, but was told that pay would be negotiated based on my experience. The person conducting the interview did not give me his undivided attention- he was taking calls and sending emails the whole time. He did not ask me about my background/experience- he was going on and on about himself. The interview was approximately and hour and a half long- we spoke about the position for maybe 3 minutes. It was implied that I was offered the job- when I divulged my desired salary, I was told that the figure was way too high. The whole process could have been avoided had he just had the initial salary discussion when I requested it!
