The interview process was overall good. There were two stages: a phone screening via WhatsApp and a technical interview.
The phone screening was quite easy, mostly asking about my expectations in general. One concern at this stage was the offered salary—it did not meet my expectations for a senior-level role. However, I decided to continue the process, thinking maybe the workload would not be too heavy.
During the technical interview, I learned more about the job description, and it turned out to be much more demanding than expected. They explained that I would need to:
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously (shifting up to three projects in one day)
• Manage the security of the website (which I felt should be handled by a dedicated role, given the salary offered)
• Ensure delivery timelines and meet tight deadlines
For me, these responsibilities were quite heavy, especially compared to the salary offered, which was more aligned with an entry- to mid-level position. Unfortunately, the company was not open to adjusting the compensation.
At that point, I realized the role was not a good fit for me, and I was no longer interested. It also seemed the company felt the same way.
