Everything was rather swift - interview with recruiter, during it the skills, expectations were discussed, then it lead to interview with direct manager and lead dev, after that was a preliminary offer meeting and that was about it.

Question 1
What interested you about this role in particular?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SAI360 in Jul 2024
Interview
Initially, phone interview with recruiter, whom just asked very basic questions about my background. I also had an interview with the hiring manager via video. This interview with the hiring manager lacked any structure, and I was not asked any questions about my background. I highlighted my professional experience and explained how I thought I could bring value to the organization, and ultimately the sales team. I was told that I was in the top five candidates and that I should expect to speak with the hiring manager’s manager for a final round of interviews. A week later, I had heard nothing. So, I followed up with the recruiter via email. A few days later, I received response and was told that she would get back to me the next day. It ended up being two days later, and I was told that they had selected another candidate. Clearly, I was completely misled by the hiring manager, as the “final interview” never happened. Although the people I spoke to were pleasant, I find the whole process very dishonest, and it makes me wonder what else was misrepresented about the role or the organization. Most likely, this is a cultural red flag, and I realize that I may have dodged a bullet.

Question 1
The recruiter asked me basic questions about my overall experience and we reviewed my résumé. The hiring manager asked me absolutely nothing and told me that she really didn’t use resumes and that she just liked to have conversations. Apparently, very unstructured conversations with no interview questions. Definitely, not a way that I was ever trained to conduct interviews as a hiring manager.
Hello, I just wanted to check that you have reviewed the right Company? We haven't got a vacancy for an Account Manager currently live, so I am wondering if it was another SAI Global company and not SAI360. I would be most interested to hear more about it if it was in fact SAI360. Please contact me directly at katie.schreiber@sai360.com to discuss more.
