I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rotunda Software in Nov 2019
Interview
I applied online and got an email a few days later saying they wanted to know a little more about me. They asked me to answer 3 questions (listed below).
A couple of days after I submitted my answers I got another email saying they “regretted to inform me...” and so on. As any applicant would or should do, I responded thanking them for their time and for reviewing everything, and asked them for suggestions on how I could improve as a candidate and if there was anything specific that had an impact on their decision. I never got an answer.
Even though this is not asking me for a suggestion, I’ll give one. As an employer, specifically the HR department, you should always respond to applicants emails when they ask for your advice. When you do not respond to applicants’ emails after you “regret to inform them”, it leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths and probably makes them glad they didn’t even get the job in a company that doesn’t really care. It takes 3 minutes to respond.

Thank you so much for your interest in the Marketing Associate position at Rotunda Software. The outpouring of interest and enthusiasm we've received surrounding this position has been inspiring. We've been talking with hundreds of candidates from all over the country. The abundance of candidates is a blessing, but unfortunately it also means that we need to turn down many qualified applicants. While we aren't able to provide immediate feedback to every candidate we've had the pleasure of speaking with, we do plan on sending follow-up emails to those who've requested feedback over the coming weeks. If you'd like more immediate feedback, you're welcome to contact me directly. Thank you again for your interest in Rotunda.
