I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rev (Odenton, MD) in Feb 2016
Interview
All you have to do is answer some easy grammar and writing skills questions. Then they ask you to write 1-3 paragraphs about your home town. After that I was given a (roughly) two and a half minute audio clip to transcribe. Considering it was my first time transcribing, it took me about an hour for the whole process. About 3 hours later I received an email telling me that I can now activate my account and start working. For someone who is skilled in typing and doesn't mind a little bit of repetition, this seems like a nice gig and I can't wait to start.

Question 1
It wasn't really an interview, it was more like a multiple choice test followed by a short answer and a sample transcription.
It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
