The interview process began when I was contacted by an external HR representative who had no direct affiliation with Resonance. The interaction was pleasant and professional. Later on, I was approached by the assistant of Christian Gheorghe, the CEO and co-founder of the company, to schedule a conversation with him.
I had a 30-minute call with Christian during which he presented their platform, One, a product I found genuinely interesting and which caught my attention. I briefly introduced myself, my background, and the technologies I work with. Everything went well, and I was told the next step would be a more technical interview with the engineering team.
However, two weeks passed with no follow-up. I reached out via email both to the assistant and to Christian himself. The assistant’s email was no longer valid, and I never received a reply from Christian. Two more weeks went by before the HR representative got back to me, informing me that the process wouldn’t continue, something that, by that point, was already quite obvious. Even she mentioned she didn’t understand why.
While I appreciated that the expected rate range was communicated upfront — which is a plus — the lack of transparency and clear communication made the experience quite disappointing. It left me with the impression of false advertising.
Would not recommend.
