      A Disappointing Experience with Redis India TA Team. I rarely write reviews, but my experience with the Redis hiring process (specifically with the India-based Talent Acquisition team) was frustrating enough that I feel compelled to share — especially given Redis’ reputation as a world-class organization. Let me start by saying this: I’ve interviewed with multiple companies, including early-stage startups, and nearly all of them had smoother, more respectful hiring coordination than what I experienced here. For a company of Redis’ stature, this was genuinely surprising. Here’s the sequence — you be the judge: • I received a message on LinkedIn from a Redis TA representative. I promptly responded with interest, sharing my resume and phone number. A week passed without any follow-up. • Eventually, I got a call around 5 PM IST while I was traveling. I requested a call back at 6:30 PM. No follow-up. I tried calling back — no response. At 7 PM, I called again and was told, “I’ll call you back.” Again, nothing for another week. • After a week, the TA team called and we had a good conversation. We scheduled a follow-up call for the coming Monday at 12 PM IST. • On Monday, I realized no meeting link had been shared. I emailed and called — no response. It was stressful and confusing. • The next day, Heidi kindly stepped in and scheduled the call. It went well. A take-home test was scheduled for the following Monday. • I took a day off to dedicate time for the test. Once again, no email, no instructions, no link. I sent a follow-up at 10 AM, then another after an hour or so, asking if the test would be rescheduled. • Eventually, I received a response. I completed the test within the given time and submitted my answers. • The interviewer mentioned I would hear back in “a day or two.” That was 20 days ago. Since then, radio silence. To be clear — this feedback is not directed at Heidi. She has been professional, kind, and responsive. This review is specifically about the overall experience with the Indian TA and hiring team. Hiring processes can be unpredictable. Delays are understandable. What’s disappointing is the consistent lack of communication, last-minute coordination, and disregard for the candidate’s time and effort — especially when Redis initiated the outreach. I genuinely expected better.
