I applied online, there are three different things you have to do: entry sheet (your basic information, basic interview questions like "have you used Rakuten products; Your strengths, etc"), personality test and ability test, which will take you 20-30 mins to finish separately. I did not have a good time with the ability test, but later I got an email saying that I passed the first round. The second is web video interview which they give you 5 pre-recorded questions, really basic ones, even you choose to do the interview in English, they still will ask you to answer the final question in fully Japanese. So prepare for that, I was too nervous so I am not sure how my interview goes. I am still waiting for the result now.
