The process was long and tedious and a complete wast of my time. The first interview went well and made sense since it was with the team I’d be working with, even though they were asking a lot of questions that involved information about my current job which is irrelevant to the interview. The second interview was very messy and unorganized, they asked me to bring in additional work samples, even though they were provided a comprehensive portfolio. During the second interview I was asked again about information on my current employer and it felt more like leadership is trying to find out what my current employer is working on and who they’re working with, I refused to answer such questions. In addition, they were constantly urging the need for me to bring in my own laptop to share my screen and show them my portfolio which I have never encountered before during interviews.
Lastly, I shared with everyone that my experience with Revit is intensive on modeling and that I never worked professionally on a construction drawing set with Revit, they chose to have a Revit test for me handling comments on a construction drawing set that they previously did.
Overall, all their requests made me very uncomfortable.
