I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at RBC (Montreal, QC) in Sept 2010
Interview
You are invited to a private information session where 2 wealth managers are present and the HR recruiter. Once you apply online through the campus recruitment, you are asked to come in for an interview. The people above are from Toronto and first interview is in Montreal.
The interview is part behavioural and part technical.
Example of tech questions: What is your favourite stock, what stock would you sell. What currency would you short or buy? What BRIG country would you invest in? How are bonds priced at right now? In your opinion what is the economic outlook for the next 12-18 months? If you had a million dollars what would you invest in? etc...
You are then called back within 2 weeks to come to the final round of interviews in Toronto where only 15 people are selected, and 5 are chosen for the rotational program.

Interview
Good interview process, 3 people, 2 past interns, and one analyst. Good interview process overall, kind, engaging, and asked questions, it was through zoom. Got an offer a couple days afterwards through a call to work.
