The process took total 5 rounds where each was of 60 mins.
4 Technical and 1 General Discussion with the Director of engineering.
Each round went really well due to my expertise.
I constantly communicated with the HR throughout the process to make sure if I would be a right candidate, and if my salary expectations are within their budget, they said they have no upper limit for the right candidate.
So finally after investing around 5 hours into the process, the HR team stopped responding to my messages and sent a reject email saying that they decided to move with other candidates.
Even before the final DoE round, I asked the HR about my chances of receiving an offer if this goes well, they said they can definitely make an offer since all the technical rounds were positive.
At the least, I was expecting a feedback to know what went wrong, but they didn't reply at all inspite of multiple follow-ups.
My recommendation to other candidates would be to interview at a place where your time is valued and the process is transparent, which is not true in this case.
