I was contacted for a screening interview for the role by HR, and in the initial email they let me know this would require 3 days in office. I asked the HR Rep about the address and she quickly responded. I followed up with a clarifying question about the salary range for the role, to make sure the range is higher than my current salary so it would make sense to proceed with the interview process, The HR rep did not respond to me for almost 1 week, despite a few more emails from me asking to align on the range. Then, just 10 mins before our scheduled interview she cancels it, and finally responds saying it's not in their budget. Honestly, I would not have proceeded with the interview even if it was.
