Met with several of the members of staff and the CEO. Discussed my background, the role, and how I would fit into the company culture. The interview process was very ill defined because it is an earlier stage company.

Interview
It starts by an informal meeting on Zoom/Teams to tell you some information about the company and the team. The person also would learn about you and your research background and why you are interested in the position.

Why are you interested in the position? What drives you to strive and keep going and what hinders that? How is your background fit for the role?
The interview process was very friendly and not adversarial in any manner. It was mostly discussion based and there wasn't any leet-coder style problems. It was more to the point of seeing if we were a good fit for each other and asking more applicable questions about experience relevent to the problem domain.
