I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PulsePoint (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
My interview experience at PulsePoint was, hands-down, one of the most seamless and supportive I’ve ever had. The role itself is a fascinating blend of data analytics and client-facing responsibilities, and from the outset, I could immediately see how it ties into PulsePoint’s mission of merging healthcare and adtech in a meaningful way. Instead of feeling like a one-sided interrogation, the process felt more like a genuine conversation about mutual fit.
A major highlight was working with Riley, who went above and beyond to make sure I was set up for success. She provided prompt feedback, clear next steps, and plenty of encouragement and tips at each stage. It never felt like there was a “black box” anywhere. I always knew what to expect and how to prepare, which helped me focus on showcasing my skills rather than worrying about logistics. The result was a transparent, well-structured, and genuinely enjoyable interview process.

Hiring Manager & Team Interviews: I spoke with multiple team members (Manager, Sr. Analyst, SVP of Data, VP of Sales), covering both technical (SQL queries, reporting) and soft skills (client communication, collaboration). Everyone was well-prepared, respectful of my time, and asked thoughtful questions tailored to my background.
Final Presentation: This gave me a chance to demonstrate real-world problem-solving and client communication skills. Riley provided tips, ensuring I knew exactly what the team hoped to see, and was available for any last-minute questions.
