Really enjoyed the interviews, process and communication throughout. The longest points of waiting was just personal availability between interviews - responses after stages were incredibly quick (one even being literally 30 mins later!). Each stage was very informative and great interviewers - each one started saying a rough outline of the interview and making sure to always give 5 or 10 mins (at the expense of stopping further questions of their own or otherwise!) for own questions.
Stage 0 - Screening/Info Call
Chat with recruiter about the role, duties, responsibilities etc. Information about the company, its mission, benefits and more. Bit of a discussion into own work experience, motivations etc.
Stage 1 - Self/Initial Interview
Interview with CTO and another engineer. Much more conversation led, casual chat to discover personal motivations for applying, skills and job experience and how they fit to the role. Information on the company, benefits and expectations from short through to longer term. Information on ambition for the company and more.
Stage 2 - Task Interview/Technical Checks
Take home task of an hour-ish given as a one-pager with summary, information and expectations clearly labelled out. Interview itself was with another Engineer and other team member with appropriate technical expertise. Interview was then in two halves - the first to presenting the completed task (in this case, a design task) and discussion around it, with appropriate questions to probe thought and work put into the task. Second half was more "scripted" questions to ensure fairness across all interviews but focusing on technical ability and expectations that relate to the job role.

Stage 3 - Principles/Final Interview
Interview with CTO, Head of Engineering and team member. Focus on questions that determine whether you ultimately align to the principles and will be the right team member to work in that role and the company as a whole.
Through all stages they were presented as more easy going conversations without cutting off (besides appropriate points or for time saving) and ensuring time to ask own questions or add additional input of your own. Ensured you met as many people as possible and appropriate to get a good grasp of the culture and company itself.
