Two rounds. More personality and character based. Less about content to do with Asia. Interviewers were extremely friendly and nice. You get to know at the interviews how few positions are actually available since many many current fellows stay an additional year or transfer to another post.

was very chill, they just want to get to know you as a person and don't want scripted answers. I had a good experience and even met a couple friends during the process

Interview
Three in-person interviews, back to back. They were all very nice, personable, asked questions about why I wanted to go to the places I selected, and how it aligned with my career goals and ambitions.
