Being approached by a PluralSight Recruiter for a Zoom screening, being asked non technical questions. Then was given a 15 mins aptitude test and a personality test through a third party website and completed both. Being scheduled for another zoom meeting with the team members and hiring managers that consists of one hour of pair programming to solve a scala problem with team members and 2 hours of talking with team members and managers. Being asked to describe a conflict occurrence in the past with coworkers. I did not get the offer. First of all, I was focusing on solving the pair programming problem so I didn’t talk too much that might have turned the team off. Also, for the past conflict question, I described An occurrence that I wrote someone’s code due to deadline and for the viability of the project at the time. That might have turned off the team members as well. I do not regret what I said because I made a decision for the good of the team at the time even though it hurt someone’s feeling, and I was able to mend that relationship anyways.
