      Senior Associate Interview

      7 Nov 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Plural Strategy (London, England) in Sept 2024

      Interview

I want to write a review as, in my life, I rarely encountered a company as unprofessional as Plural Strategy. I was contacted by a headhunting company and started the process with the company. Interviews at Plural are not the typical case study. You do not perform any calculation and you are just shown a bunch of charts to comment on them. They are, on average, way easier than other consulting companies. Moved on passing the first round, I interviewed with a partner. The round seemed to have gone very well. However, just before the last interview, I was told by the headhunter that Plural was not moving forward with the process. I was not given any kind of feedback and Plural Strategy did not even bother to cancel the meeting. Ghosting candidates is not ok and it is not ok to not provide feedback after more rounds with a candidate. It is my belief that this type of behaviour will - probably already is - impact Plural’s branding in the Consulting space.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, and I’m truly sorry to hear about your negative experience during the latter stage of your interview process. At Plural Strategy, we always provide constructive feedback to candidates following an interview, and if you apply through a headhunter, any updates regarding interview scheduling or final decisions are typically communicated through them. They are also responsible for passing along feedback to assist with your ongoing job search. While it is very rare for us to cancel an interview, there are occasions where interviews are conducted over multiple days. If, after the initial interview, it becomes clear that we will not be moving forward due to performance-related concerns, we communicate this promptly to avoid taking up more of your valuable time along with feedback. I’m sorry that, in this case, the headhunter did not relay this information as clearly as expected. If you would like to reach out to us directly, we would be happy to provide this feedback to you directly to assist you in your future endeavours. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your career journey. Kind regards, Charlotte Llewellyn Head of HR and Talent
