Interview process is extremely tedious, and no compensation details would be shared with me during first few steps of the interview. After my second phone interview, I reached out to some friends who worked there, and they indicated that based on my current pay at a competing gym for a role with less responsibility, I would be better off not leaving my current job. I ended up not showing up to the next in-person interview after hearing this. Prior to this, I had 3 phone interviews, submitted a resume, completed their separate online application which contained long-form interview-style questions, and finally completed a “homework assignment” from them which required me to write an actual essay on their foundational pillars and mission statement, and what those things mean to me. Overall, it was a lot of hoops to jump through only to find out that the job wasn’t worth it. Since then, my three friends who worked there have moved on to a work for a different company.
