I applied online and was contacted by HR for a 30-minute phone call within a week or two. Overall, it was a very positive experience with a friendly, well-prepared HR rep who told me a lot about the position and asked a lot about my background.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Playbuzz (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
I had a phone and in-person interview with the VP of Monetization and a Skype interview with the CFO. I also interviewed in-person with the Director of Monetization, Director of HR/Operations and the Head of Sales, North America. I also created a 30/60/90 day plan.

We discussed my background as well as my experience in programmatic sales. The interview was conversational rather than a "quick fire" Q&A. Everyone was very professional and friendly, and I enjoyed the process.

Interview
SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL... all the red flags.
So the HR screen was scheduled and they completely missed it.
We rescheduled and it was so bad I wish they had bailed.
She read a bunch of scripts about the position and the company. Alot of the questions were focused on the specific type of brand partnerships I've worked with, but the role as a designer specified in the role is to create work with different types of content.
I went into depth about the agency I had worked for and what roles I played for each brand.
And then she asked me if i've ever worked for an agency, which one and for how long.
