I've applied through a school agency, so the interview process consisted of: - recording a 2-3 minute video with introduction and answer: Why you’re looking to work as a Teaching Assistant in Secondary schools, and what experience, education and skills you can bring to this role. The second stage was f2f with SENCo and Vice Principal

Interview
One of the most disgusting experiences I had; the process was shambolic and totally unprofessional. It was clear from the beginning of the interview and from their attitude that they had already chosen their candidate. No respect for potential employees at all. If this reflect the overall modus operandi of the company, I had a lucky escape.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pimlico Academy (London, England) in Mar 2012
Interview
I was asked to prepare a 30 minute lesson on a specific topic for a given age group. I was observed during the lesson and then asked questions about the way I chose to teach the topic during the interview. There was also a series of competency based questions in the interview.
