Applied online. 1st round recruiter screening. 2nd round hiring manager. 3rd round case study assignment.
BE AWARE: this company has posted multiple iterations of this role: Head of Demand Gen, Head of Growth, Growth Lead, Strategic Marketing Lead, all with the same JD and salary range. They also post similar JD at a senior manager level with lower pay.
The third round includes drafting a very in-depth strategy, and the meaty brief asks for some pretty specific judgment calls—especially around "pipeline math" and the "partner-led growth" model. They ask for 2-3 hours, but honestly this is at least 8-10 if you are producing anything professional and thorough. Like many others who have posted here and on other forums, this is the point where candidates are ghosted. No acknowledgment, no response. Hot take: this company may be using the senior-level JD and interview process to collect playbooks with no intention of hiring, except at the lower manager level, ie. someone who can execute playbooks but not at a strategic leader salary.
