My application has been recommended to the recruiter by a recruitment agency specialised in multilingual staff. Interview took place at their London head quarters with the head of office. Even though they were interested in my profile, I would have expressed further interest (and approval) in the project itself (including watching some of the films produced) to be able to interview with the director himself. At that stage, I refused, as was anticipating not being able to fully approve of the project, and support the director in a way he expected to be (24/7 availability and extensive travelling).
