I first talked to PepsiCo at an undergraduate engineering career fair, after which I left them with my resume. Two weeks later, I got an email inviting me to interview at their Global R&D facility in Valhalla, NY. They helped arrange transportation there, and had a full afternoon scheduled for us, including multiple interviews, a presentation, and a tour of the facility. Everyone there was very friendly and the interviews went smoothly, although they almost felt too casual. I wasn't particularly interested in working for a food and beverage company, and while I had engaging conversations with my two interviewers, we didn't talk much about the kind of work I would be doing as part of the internship. They felt more like conversations than interviews. Apparently they picked up on that sentiment as well, because I didn't end up getting an offer from them. If you want to work there, my advice would be to do some research on your own so you can talk specifics, and to really demonstrate your interest in working for a food and beverage company.
